Jose Mourinho gives three reasons why he will not sign Cristiano Ronaldo as he categorically ends Manchester United interest

The Portuguese forward allegedly told Real Madrid that he wants to leave Spain after becoming embroiled in a tax fraud scandal, though president Florentino Perez insisted that was not the case in a radio interview on Monday night.
The Bernabeu chief made it clear that Ronaldo will remain a Real player and if any club does want to sign him, they will need to trigger his £1 billion release clause.

According to the Spanish publication’s report, Mourinho has three major concerns regarding any pursuit of his compatriot and would rather all focus go into securing Alvaro Morata instead.

The 54-year-old, who ironically has himself been accused of tax fraud by Spanish prosecutors today, is reluctant to engineer a reunion with a player who he left Madrid on bad terms with.
In addition to falling out with Ronaldo, he also has serious doubts about the performances he could give, especially in the more physically demanding Premier League
Cristiano Ronaldo asks for PSG transfer as Manchester United return falls through

The Portugal international has made it known he wants to leave Real Madrid this summer, as he is supposedly hurt at the club’s lack of support since a case of alleged tax fraud was filed against him.
Real Madrid have already been linked with three big-name replacements for their top scorer, and it seems he’s instructed his agent to sort him a move to PSG over other clubs.
It remains to be seen if this is down to his fellow countryman Pepe telling him to follow him from Madrid to Paris this summer, but Marca claim he has a number of reasons for wanting the move.
The 32-year-old is apparently looking to move to a new city and is said to be keen to work under the club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Ronaldo was inevitably linked with a return to United after news of his desire to leave the Bernabeu broke out, but it looks increasingly like both parties have decided against it.
