ARSENAL have reportedly missed out on signing Belgian forward Landry Dimata.

Wolfsburg have confirmed Dimata has joined them on a five-year deal for around £8.8million (10m euros) from KV Oostende.

The Bundesliga club's sporting director Olaf Rebbe said: "He is a young, flexible forward whose progress we have been following closely for some time. So we're delighted that the transfer worked out."
Dimata added: "At Wolfsburg I will be playing with many top players, of whom I can still learn a lot. This will be a big challenge, which I am incredibly looking forward to."
Last season Dimata scored 11 goals in 24 league games for Oostende after joining from Standard Liege last summer.

Arsenal have been linked with a number of strikers including Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lacazette and Henry Onyekuru.
The interest from the Hammers comes as manager Slaven Bilic looks to add firepower to an under-performing front line.
